Afghanistan, 2009–2010 🇦🇫🇺🇸 — During his service alongside the U.S. Marines, Fahim Fazli shared more than his language and cultural knowledge—he also shared a piece of home. He would cook traditional Afghan food for the Marines, bringing the flavors and warmth of Afghan culture to the team. In his free time, Fahim enjoyed playing volleyball with the Marines, creating moments of friendship, laughter, and connection despite the challenges of deployment.
